The state’s #1 school system - https://edmondschools.net/, the abundance of real estate options, close proximity to OKC, and many other favorable factors make Edmond a difficult place to beat for families and executives alike.

While Edmond continues to add to its residents’ quality of life with new restaurants, shopping centers, medical establishments and amazing parks, the cost of living remains well below the national average and is one of the top eleven safest cities in the nation.

Nichols Hills

From statehood in 1907 to about the time of the Depression in 1929, Dr. G. A. Nichols, in true N.I.M.B.Y. fashion, saw the encroachment of commercial industries begin to threaten his and his neighbor’s quiet lifestyle. Dr. Nichols founded his municipality 1929 and placed restrictions on certain industries while permitting other commercial endeavors necessary for self-contained living by its residents. Over recent years, homeowners wanting to live in this amazing community have bought tiny bungalows to either renovate them or tear them down to build mansions creating an eclectic, variety of homes while maintaining the insulated “Nichols Hills” community surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shopping.
